Only damage was a bashed wing mirror (the glass popped out in one piece and was able to be put back in no problems) and a small scrape on exhort and one bar end.

On the plus side, I’m fine and have learnt a lesion.
Wow, that was a fine example of what could have been a really hard lesson being a comparatively easy one. Glad that damage to bike was negligible, and it appears you are unscathed. I only wish my mirrors popped out like that and could be popped back in so easily!!! (but I really can't see me changing my bandit for a hyo).

p.s. hope it was a "lesson" you learnt, and not a "lesion" you "earned"

Try riding a Firestorm with Shinko plastic tyre on the front Mentaly shitting myself on tight corners on bad road service with moss growing on parts on the middle of the road.

Crashed a little bit? Isn't that like a little bit pregnant? Glad you OK and lesson is learnt.

Went into a corner to fast, did the stupid thing of slamming on the brakes, instead of just leaning it over and ended up hitting a dirt bank at low(ish) speed.

The bank stopped the bike, but then due to the angle I was on, down she (the bike) went.

Not good to hear but at least it is good that there is stuff all damage to you or the bike
