looking at the rain forecast it looks like she'll peak in the very early hours of friday morn, should be close to normal flow just a bit murky on sat arvo, (dont hold me to that though) should be a great weekend if the weather patterns accurate, just enough rain to keep the dust down

In someways the scrambler would be a better choice than my new (to me) XRL650.
I will be wanting to flat foot it alot this weekend, but the XR is a tall pig.

The KLR is all ready to go (complete with shiny new XR650 bash plate, welded in footpeg brace, fixed headlight and brake switch and new wof/reg) - unfortunately I'm fighting a dose of the bot so if I'm feeling good on Friday I'll hop on the KLR . If I'm feeling mediocre I'll throw the yet to be reassembled DT on the trailer and drive up and - the option I'm dreading - if I feel too shitty - I'll roll over in bed and go back to sleep.

A stand in organaminizer may be needed....

Mark, when we go through Fishers can we regroup at the fallen tree stump for a few minutes and have a look there at what thats like. Thats the only point that may stop the big bikes going both ways and I'm keen to go the other way.
    makes sense too me

I am indeed, been a fun couple weeks getting to know it. Still get a buzz riding a 'dirt bike' on the road

Looking forward to not having to struggle so much as I did on the Tiger in the tricky stuff. Think i'll miss the comfy seat tho.....

Your are not alone. Been coughing my lungs out for the last 5 weeks. Hopefully the clean, fresh air will clean out my sinuses. I feel best riding my bike.

    Come on Mark, no excuses.

You wimped out last time cause there was a bit of water in the sky, no doing the same again this time.

C'mon, you lot, it's not raining here and the sun stuck it's nose out a few minutes ago.

Mark, if you're crook, stay home and get better, I'm sure we can work out which way is north.....

However, it would be good to see you!
