Stick with staying at the Owhango hotel for friday night tho.
    Hey c.h.r.i.s.

At this stage I am only going down for the Friday trip, and returning north on the Saturday morning when ya all head off on the proper ride , as I have a Sunday thing that I haven't managed to get out of yet (without owing SWMBO a truckload of "you owe me's"!) Having said that, I AM working on it, and if plans come together nicely I will add my booking to the Taumarunui spot for Sat night ...

Good with the Owhango pub for Friday still.

change of plan is in place, looks like myself and Devil will be joining you guys at the Taumarunui camp grounds for the saturday night.

But we were wondering (collectively) if one of the guys doing the trailer thing would be so kind as to let us dump our gear in your car and pick it up back in Taumarunui that evening, save us having to drag it through the tracks for the day?

I'd better go get a map and see where you guys are going. Might tag along if you can handle waiting for a slow one.

I'm only trailering the bike to the camp and riding it from there on as it's registered. You are welcome to leave your gear in my car or cabin but I assume you want to give it to someone who may be trailering thier bikes to the tracks themselves otherwise you'd have to backtrack to Taumarunui Saturday morning. Is that right?

Part of the reason for buying the 650 was to travel further afield. So....I guess I've got no excuse now.

    42nd, here we come.

I thought you didn't want to do rides with too many people - this one is looking dangerously popular!

I guess this is why you almost made it up CNUT, you wanted some quiet solo contemplation up there!

Sh*t doesn't just "happen". There is always an a*sehole involved.

I might have to make an exception. If I stuck to my own rules, I'd have no fun (or mates).
