Hummm / May have something to do with the compound of the brake pad's ?? . When it rain's may be cooling the disc more & pads working better than when disc is hot . Eg the pads may be gettig to hot & glazing slightly ??![]()

ahh sensei you maybe right.grasshopper will check disc out when light returns to the world.
in other words ill look in the morning when i get it out of the shed!!

further to this thread i discovered that no pads left also means no brakes!!!!
replaced pads and wahaygot brakes again!!
