replacing tyre

has anyone here had a go at replacing their own front tyre??
is it like doing a pushbike tyre?
i know its gota be balanced,i just picked up a fairly new metzler for $90 and want it on soon as cose the old tyres bald!!

If its a tubed tyre, then go ahead and do it yourself. If its tubeless then leave it to the experts. You wouldn't want to damage the sealing surface by using old fasioned tyre levers.
