    Timaru Motor Dismantlers. Gone?

    i went past timaru motorcycle dismantlers today and they have shut up shop it would appear?anyone know whats the story with this?it would certainly be a shame if this is the case,as there was wealth of knowledge and parts available from them in the past

    Never heard of them (too far away for me), but many are struggling currently. And TradeMe is also slowly killing their trade as any "real" dismantler pays rent, power, phones, income tax, GST, wages etc. Where the TM ones have no overheads, pay no tax or GST and have the whole country to sell too.

    I had an email from them (I assume it's the same place, not being a timaruvian) about some parts just this morning, so I'd say they have either moved or perhaps gone part time or something, email address is: tmcw - at - xtra
