I thought I would have the longest riding history, untill I saw 'digsaws' post.
I bought my first bike in 1953 and have had one ever since. That means I have had and twelve different bikes over 53 years.
I learnt to ride in 1947 on an old pre war Harley. Never wanted to ride one since.

Gawd yes! That's a helluva long time...and counting. You'll have to re-train yourself and you will be a BAB.

Keep in mind tho, that it's just like riding a bike.

just goes to show that the Statistic's are run by the govt & they put in the figures that suit them & acc the best

i've just filled out a Q & A for Otago Uni about my accident (fell off my bike in drive way) broke my leg & ankle two of the Q's were how long have you been riding & how many k's a year do you do on road,
legally for 36 years & over the past 4 years any where from 55 to 65k & this year have already done 53k & there are people out there who do more

edit: thats why I ride a Gs

Just as well most accidents aren't random events, isn't it!?

I didn't know you were a daddy, Big Daddy.

As for me (yeah, I'm a dad too), I've been riding since last week. Or perhaps a bit before that.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I've had my learner's since late May. Rode a dirtbike once before that and a couple of other 250s. Rode a scooter since February. So I'm just a newbie.
