I am looking at one of these at the moment, I have read a little about them, but would like to hear from some one who has owned one, ie good and bad points, and things to look out for.

yea I,ve read about the cams, but the bike is half way up the country, and working a full weekend so no chance to ride it.

many years ago, back in the early 90's. It was a tidy example of the sabre, but I did not have it very long, it was a 'orrible bike. I can not really say why it was 'orrible, it seemed to do all I asked of it, but it did nothing well. It had no real bad points, but it had no real good points also, it was just a boring unexciting motorcycle.
