    Bob-bye Betty.

It's the end of an era folks! I've sold my beloved Black Betty, aka the Bitchin' Mobile. She was my 1st bike and a little beauty! If I had more $$ and a garage I would've hung onto her and slowly restored the old gal She's a Honda, CB250RS, 1983.

From our 1st BIG ride all the way to Hamilton: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=1903 with heaps of support from my Kiwibiker whanau to my 2 big rides down to the Mainland: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=8959 and my 1st rally http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...&postcount=205

She got dropped, crashed, pushed over, blown over and vandalised but nothin' could stop my Betty for long!

During her time with me she went from the 'Killa Pussy, Bitchin' Mobile' to Black Betty and just kept going.

Alas the time came for me to move on and get something with a little more grunt that my little ole Betty could offer.

So, thank you Betty to introducing me to the wonders of the open road and two wheels. You'll always be my first love.

    Whoa, Black Betty, blam-ba-lam...

I feel a song coming on! Oh, wait...

You never forget your first bike, no matter what. Sounds like she's given you some good memories.

OMG!! The end of an era indeed!! I am sure you used to carry an ever increasing mound of spares with you at one stage!! (levers, cables...)

Well done! Part of the journey you have taken with her and now its time to share the love with someone else that will hopefully appreciate her now!

Time to make great new memories and experience the new journey with your next ride!

I'm never wanting to feel that way about parting with my 1st bike, thats why I've kept mine!
