To all those who say "Flash bike = big hp or debt", that's bullshit. If a university student like myself who is largely unemployed (heh) can afford a 1000cc bike + maintenance costs, you should be able to as well. Maybe you're just terrible at managing your money?

Did anyone mention the fact that buying/riding bikes is great way to make income evaporate?

Sitting in a shed but not on the go......cut hours since October has curtailed things somewhat.

Cant comment. Even when I didn't have 4WD's, bikes, and two 10 year old kids, I was broker than a broke thing.

Well my mate called me a tosser (quietly) when I got the Duke but kept the 1100 too-

I mean- not MY fault he has only one bike- sigh

It aint like I can ride both at same time so having em both says NOTHING about my income- just that I love both my bikes - and wifey prefers the gixxer for 2up

Nice to be able to let visiting out of town mates come out too ya know
    Just ride.

There will always be people who judge you by what you ride, wear, how you look. Suits me fine, means the small minded idiots tend to take one look at me and walk away and I don't have to go to the effort of offending them before they leave me alone.
