Can't blame you for not bringing them in if there is no demand, There's thread after thread here looking for something a bit more trail based. I dunno the 100 seems a better base for that than the 85??
Ah well you know your industry best, I'm not gonna tell you how to suck eggs!
When my daughter gets a bit better in her CRf150F and starts needing a better suspended bike I'll give you a call! Unless they start bringing in 105 Xc's, but they'd be expensive I suppose. Doesn't sound like I'd have any trouble selling it after either!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

Your one of the irritating morons who thinks they know it all and will resort to shitty remarks with negative rep, pull your thumb out of your mouth boy and engage your brain. I had 15 motorcycles at the time of my accident, including the MX bike I was riding at the time. If you dont understand what is written/typed, the chance is that those who fall into that category are dumbarses and it would appear that there are several here on this thread.![]()

mate, i dont think i know it all. but i do know that in this thread, and in the off road section of the kb forum, we arent talking about scooters and how far you can lean a bike over.
going by your profile list of bikes, you appear to me to be yet another road biker who randomly sees a topic on the main page they think is road related, and then comes in and makes a totally irrelevant post which has absoloutely nothing to do with whats going on in the thread.
more so the fact that it may even be possible that you CAN lean the small bike over MORE than the bigger bike due to reduced width. which would make you wrong even if you were saying a relevant point- which your not.
i cant be arsed right now going out to the shed to measure which size bike will lean over further though.
Dude, you lot just assume pretty much it all from other peoples' posts/profiles and Im guessing that this wouldnt be the first time and sure as shit wont be your last that you got it totally wrong, yet made an utter arsewipe of yourself online. Ive spent most of my time on a motorcycle riding a road legal enduro bike and there usually was a 2-stroke MX bike, at least, in the garage. Im also one of the riders who grew up learning to ride with a 2-stroke road bike, with an equally if not more enjoyable powerband.
So your telling me you lot spit the dummy everytime someone who owns a road/sportsbike posts something you dont like, or you have decided in your pea brains that they have made an "irrelevant post"? That would have to make you the KiwiBiker dirt dickhead division aye.
But just to prove my point and show your pea brain that you assume far too much from another person's post, I will reword myself so the dopey dipstick division can understand and I'll type slow so you can keep up. I mentioned the size of the bike because it related to the size of the wheel. Many bikers, like myself, will call anything with small wheels a scooter. This is irrelevant of if its a dirt bike or a vespa, or anything in between. You mention the width of a bike, Im not sure why as it has no relevance to my post at all. When mentioned about a bigger bike having more control, it was because they have bigger/wider tyres, which can keep bike planted much better than any bike with smaller wheels. Its the same concept as how a cage with its 4 wheels (think high preformance 4WDs if your pea brain is lagging behind) will allways be better planted to the ground, as well as have better traction and handling. Thats a simple fact of life, ever wonder why they dont have mini-bike supercross with the huge jumps? Hopefully you'll realise like everyone else, it would be too friggin dangerous. So hopefully you'll have a better idea of what Im on about now and I apologise for crediting you with enough intellegance to understand what I had previously posted. Maybe here you need a subdivision and call yourself Dopey the dipstick from dirt division? As for the dumbarse who just typed "HUH??!" on my red rep, you know who you are. Im surprised you can tie your own shoe laces when you get dressed, or do you need some help?![]()

i disagree with your statement that smaller wheels make a dirtbike more difficult to lean over, when we are talking about going down in weight of the bikes as we are here the smaller wheeled 85cc or 150f will be much easier to handle.
i can lay a 85cc mx bike further over than a 450 mx bike, mainley due to low weight, bigger wheels have some other advantages on a dirtbike but cornering is not one of them,
Agreed Scott,
He's probably comparing a ZX10 to a scooter as referred to in his post, not a big wheel compared to a small wheel which only has in inch or so difference but same chassis and tyre width. I take that assumption from this statement Anything with small wheels cannot be lent over, like a real motorcycle he doesn't seem to think a cr85 etc is a real MX bike!! Yeh right tui!!! He needed to go to the junior MX champs and see the buggers go on those! Then he goes on in the last post about smaller bikes having smaller width tyres etc but if he knew what the heck he was talking about, the bikes we where on about ie Cr85 CRF150F and Ktm105xc have same/similar width tyres as a full size 125 or 250! Shit my 200 runs 120's from factory same width as a 450. We where not comparing a mini to a full size bike we where comparing a big wheel to a small wheel in the same range DUH!!! But no doubt he'll throw some more abuse at the above as well!
Then he resorts to all sorts of crap to show his real character!
Here's a few cut and paste's for a laugh!!
Obviously you don't know your arse from your elbow

Quality input aye! Never given much red rep out but this guy came real close!
You gotta laugh though!!
I can't be bothered spending anymore time on this so I'll leave it to you guys!![]()

edit, - nah too harsh
Inline 4 ,
If you communicate like this in real life face to face ,I would be amazed if you have any teeth left....
Rightly or wrongly, from my perspective, you have not actually given any real evidence from an engineering , scientific or physics point of view but only belittled others points of view.
All your assumptions are based on what you say is right because you say it .....
I think your comments are without any justification or substance.
Im happy to discuss this in real engineering and scientic terms if you are up to it.
At the risk of getting another torrent of abuse from the one who thinks he knows all about leaning bikes over and me being a 'groupie', Scott411 do you think there's any point in bigger wheels for the KX85, or is this even possible? Would it be beneficial? I have the big wheel 85 now! Finding it harder than the 250 to push through the soft sand and the woops!
