You guys are gonna love this... check the bad rep this fucker left me: "I would expect a bit more from a drz rider than huh? I also rode a fully tricked road legal drz400 plus vintage mx & a trails bike. So whats your excuse for sounding like Homer?"

Sure, if getting out there and actually RIDING my cruddy little DRZ makes me a dropkick then I guess I am; sure beats being a narcissistic mud-slinging bigot that sits in front of his computer tugging himself while spouting off endless bullshit about fossilized bikes, scooters, and how far he can lean his road bike. Take your "vintage" and shove it. This is 2009.

i think its rather funny that he thinks that what brand bike you ride has much to do with personality. ie his sig, that honda riders are homos.... you would be cool cuz you ride a drz.....this maybe true with road bikes but dirt bikes you just ride the one that best fits the criteria, like what this thread it trying to find out

wtf is a trAIls bike???? arnt they either trials bikes or trail bikes
we may just go where no ones been

Sounds to me everyone is winding up getting primed and ready for a bloody good ride over the weekend! Tough skins are par for the course in motor-racing and don't we just love revving each other up. You gotta love it!

I balance the total outlay of the bike against the fun-factor. To me the CRF150R is overpriced because; 'Would you get anymore overall satisfaction with the 150R compared to a less expensive 2t 80/85?'

I dunno, to be honest I'm still not 100% convinced on the 2T thing but I can't justify the cost of a 150R, although the Honda salesman was very convincing when trying to sell me one, apparently they brought them out to replace the 85 and go just as hard.

thats entirely true. they do go just as hard, except they cost twice as much. and have more small parts moving really really fast to break / wear out

Give Scott a call Sammy about the suitability of those KX100's we where talking about earlier. He'll give you a price to import one. Or see what they are worth on ebay? I read a write up on them by a bike mag about a year ago they reckoned they are an excellent basis for an enduro bike. I think they only added a fly wheel weight then FMF fatty pipe? The bigger wheels be better in the sand than the 85 but Scott will know much better about them. Don't know if the extra 15 cc's over the 85 will give it more torque or not, but the bike mag reckoned it did?? Bit taller Kx85 840mm seat vs KX100 870mm so see what fits? My CRf150f you rode is 830mm. There where a couple of second hand RM100 and KX100 links posted on here as well. I reckon the 100 will make a better trial bike but ask scott I'm pretty sure he won't try and sell you what he's got in stock rather than whats best for you. Probably the way I will go for my daughter after the CRF150 as the Ktm105Xc will be to expensive?
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

The 100's have the bit more down low. Spikedpunch reckons they're great - probably not rite now while she's having problems with hers but prior to that.
