Moving to Christchurch

As the title says, due to work I'm taking the family to Christchurch.
Just interested if anyone knows a good MX club for my son(8rys kx65) and some good hints on trail rides/clubs for the both of us

I think the local Spewsuki outfit runs regular trail rides.

Failing that, there's heaps of options especially around the river beds.

BUT is gets c-c-c-c-c-c-cold in the winters.................
