I found a cheap painted and stickered factory-body-style kit which I am picking up tomorrow and will definitely post up pics when its on (probably weekend). I was thinking Tyga kits but the front looks a bit too "alien" for me, plus a full painted kit costs like 4x as much as I got this kit for!

The paint job almost looks american as it has blue and red stripes and white stars everywhere.

This gratification is worth the caning your bike took while being tested?
I've had two bikes suffer catastrophic failure immediately after a dyno run.
My last resort - only if we can't get it right without one.

a dyno is way less intense than my epic riding style

Fair enuough Big Dave, but I wanted one to diagnose the problem I was having. I wouldn't take the bike to a dyno for the hell of it!
