Try Kiwibike, both my bikes are with them and they are great so far.

I moved to Kiwibike from AMI - nearly half the price

Kiwibike are good with young riders.

John Baker and Vero are a good companies too.

I use NAC as they seem to have good service and they were excellent on price (better than the others).

Vero has an excellent rep regarding their claims process as well.

Just went through this yesterday. Went into AMI (as have car + contents with them) and they pretty much told me to go elsewhere as was going to be ridiculous.

Got quotes from a few places but the cheapest were Kiwibike and Star Insurance which were very similar. I ended up going with Star due to lower excess.

I would recommend ringing up both of these options.

Another vote goes to Kiwibike. Ring them and see: If it takes you more than 10 minutes to get your insurance sorted, then I'll give you a dollar.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

I have had mates who had really bad experience with NAC a few years ago if one of your i's is not dotted or t not crossed they will decline from what I have seen.

Went with Jetboy (John Baker) as I meet him on a ride and he rides a 250 himself and seemed like a decent guy. Insurance is all about who you trust.

Kiwibike is also a broker for Swann Insurance......Kiwibike's quote was cheaper than going directly to Swann Insurance in my case.....always great to shop around.
