Honda VS Suzuki - The final conclusion!

GSXR vs CBR , TL vs VTR , its all subjective and argued on endless threads on endless forums.
However the answer is at hand one only needs to look at each brands respective advertising in the late 60's / early 70's to have a clear winner.

What's it saying? "Suzuki make a good hot water bottle that a chick can take to bed with her".

At least the Honda ad is in English.
    Cheers

I believe sir you are missing the point of the adverts.

Lets start with the Honda advert.

On the surface to a shallow, narrow minded person it may appear slightly 'gay'. In truth it is quite the opposite. Notice how well dressed both riders are - obviously he has a excellent job and is respected by his piers in the business community. Notice how his female partner is following him - he's the man, and she bloody knows it, and when they get home shes expecting him to show her exactly how much of a man he is.

This is why they ride Hondas - they are reliable and comfortable - and lets face it, when you are on a promise for a good shagging you dam well want to make it home!

    The Suzuki advert.

On the surface it appears to portray a naked girl trying to distract her man from the motorcycle. I imagine the text could read something like "oh big boy please start me up". I also notice the bike is a two-stroke - probably all she would get out of a Suzuki owner.

However the advert has been cleverly designed to appeal to the homosexuals that prefer to ride Suzukis. Notice the bored expression on the girls face, she wants nothing from him. Is it not possible that she is thinking "fuck it will he just get away from the mirror and ride the bike with his male friends so I can masturbate in private".
It clearly says - ride a Suzuki, your mates will love you for it (time and time again....)

For what it's worth, Mrs Oakie and I just sold our two Hondas and bought one Suzuki from the proceeds. Work out for yourself what it means. I'm going to bed.

So the Honda guy has to get out of the house & hurry his ride(knowing there's a shag when he gets back)...making for a short slow ride.

Where the Suzuki dude! has his jolly good buggering first...then rides all day

    Go Suzuki
    Fook Yeah!...Me Got DRZ400sm Now!

And yet Suzuki turned the awsome TL1000 into a poofter, aka SV1000
