    Help for RG150

Just got this bike 98' and has done 30K. I rode the bike for about 35Kms and the temp. gauge just didnt budge. Is this OK?

There seem to be no lights in the RPM & temp gauge or have the bulbs fused.

Can you also tell me how many K's I can get on a tank of gas?

    Hey mate,

Temp gauge always reads low on the bike... Ive blown mulitple lights in thew rev count due to doing too many hard landing stoppies...

Tank of gas: 200km at commuting speed/ taking it easy
140km at fast road riding speed
120km is the worst ive had, but i was banging of the limiter for
    for quite a while

Use dot 5.1 replace all seals (i found the mastercylinder one was the big problem) and whack in some SBS pads... and that adds up to mint brakes... Since i dont race in streetstock anymore, ive got me some braided lines pppppphhhhhhhoooooaaaaa mean rolling stoppies...

It is just about a week now. I have done about 260k' and it is still going. Hope I dont get stuck anywhere without gas ( reserve helps keeping fingers crossed if the tap is buggered).

I had a oil leak. Took it to a dealer. I was told that I need a new packing and some seals for the power valve. I wasnt convinced and opened it at up. There is a rectangular cover above the exhaust. There was a bolt missing and the other ones loose. Fixed them.

Can someone tell me what this cover(plate) is for???

the temp gauge thing is aparently normal, i was told when i got my bike that the piece of plastic covering half the radiator helps to increase the temp. do a search on google i think there was a article on it somewhere.

what the highest speed the rg150 can actually go, ive had it about 155-160 on the country roads

and another quick question, what fuel are you using in the bike, 91? 96?

    thanks

165kmh, i use 96... lowers the chance of knocking (due to me being a bit mean on the engine...)
