    Talking Parent & child ride at Leightons Farm Sun 23 August

    Hey all
    there is a kids/parents ride this sunday at Leightons Farm (same place as the Jolly Rooster)

    8.30 - 3.00
    $35.00 per family
    No kid No Ride

    this was advertised in my daughters school newsletter, other than that had heard nothing about it. Not sure how big the track is etc but cant imagine it would be hard to find out. definately geared towards the kids.

    Where: Leightons Farm, Wilson Road, South Head
    District (Region): Rodney (AUCKLAND)
    Directions: Head through Parakai onto South Head Road, travel past Shelly Beach turn off, turn left onto Wilson Rd, then right into Te Kanae Road. Venue will be signposted from Wilson Road.
    Start Time: 08:30
    Classes: - Kids and their parents.
    Terrain: Farm trail ride catering for kids and their parents. Approx 8KM track with optional extras.

    Hey sammikins maybe you and I can team up, you can go as my granddaughter haha,

    Well with the grandson living across the ditch now, be bloody expensive bringing him back for this, anyway the little bugga was faster than me

    All the details above are/were true, and it was a good day out.

    The loop was mostly the Farm Loop from the Jolly Roosta in April, but both me & Mr 6 were able to get around it much better today!

    Just a shame the car couldn't get out of the paddock. I'll be asking Santa for a 4x4 this year; sooo embarrassing...
