    A big thanks

A big Thank You for all those who helped Saturday when my friend on her CB550 tail ended a car at a pedestrian crossing - The lead car decided to brake hard in the off chance a pedestrian on the opposite side felt like crossing (They didn't) and everyone piled up. To the mechanic at Honda Masterton (Ian?) Colin (black Ninja) who escorted us all the way back to Welly (4 hours), The Harley rider at the top of the Rimus trying to bump start it - an adventure in it's own right, the two Bikers who stopped and asked if she was OK, Neil on the CBR who I met at the Honda place and came back to see if he could help, The couple who owned the House, The Cops, one who rung Honda Masterton to see if they could stay open AND drove round there to make sure.
Just about every Biker who waved to see if she was OK - I lost count. What a great community we are.

VFR750... is that an RC30 or one of the sports-tourers?

    Cops

Shit, if that happened up here in Auckland, she would have been done for "failing to pull up short". You must have some very understanding cops down there.

Oh they did do her for that as well - careless driving.

    It's a 94 VFR not a RC30. I can now add towing to it's virtues.

Bling your way for posting what you posted in the first post of this thread, instead of posting a bleat about this.

Nice. Hope she and her bike are doing fine.

We Bikers would like to think we stick together and every so often a story like thisone cakmes along.Great post and yes the law has done their thing, but unfortuntely thats lke, main thing is she and her bike are both being looked after and so many KB'ers and no doubt ordinary riders fulfilled the prophecy.
    Nice.
Every day above ground is a good day!:
