I was following a Harley the other day down a narrow street with vehicles parked both sides. There was a truck parked up ahead, and the driver walked onto the road to get in and I thought "OMG he's going to swing his door open and hit that bike!" But the front rider honked loudly TOOT TOOT! and gave the truckie a big cheery wave. Truckie waved back and waited for us both to pass before opening his door.

I have had complete strangers come up and strike up a conversation with me...some time after we parted I reaslized itwas a work collegue just out of work clothes....

I pulled up outside the gym I used to go to. I'm about to get out of the car when a complete stranger gets in the car and starts chatting to me. I eventually get a word in and she looks at me and starts to scream (in my car).

I suspect this mad woman's ride home drove the same car as me (maybe just the same colour).

Nope but unlocked a car with my remote locker and climbed in to someone elses (unlocked) same colour car 3 parking spaces from mine....

I can see how that happens! Ive done that very same thing but no-one was in the drivers seat, Ive also got into the work car in the passenger side sat there a bit and realised i was the one that drove it there. Its just the workings of a creative mind! ha ha.

Moving back and forth between left and right hand drive countiries does get confusing at times...right?

Yes, and I even sat next to him on the bus while yacking. It wasn't till we got off at uni that I realised he wasn't at all who I thought he was (an acquaintance of a friend). He thought it was pretty funny. I ran in embarrassment. (Well I was only 17 and not very worldly for dealing with strange guys who thought I was trying to pick them up...!!!)
