[QUOTE=EJK;1129366708]....you walked upto a person that you think you know and greet them, then talked and talked. But soon later you realised that they are not actually the one you know? i.e. a total random stranger.
I wasn't drunk or anything...QUOTE]
Tuis please....
I have had complete strangers come up and strike up a conversation with me...some time after we parted I reaslized itwas a work collegue just out of work clothes....
Nope but unlocked a car with my remote locker and climbed in to someone elses (unlocked) same colour car 3 parking spaces from mine....
Moving back and forth between left and right hand drive countiries does get confusing at times...right?
I like intentionally waving back at someone who is waving to someone behind me...sometimes they get all embarassed like
...Nah just a name given to John Travolty's bike....Boom boom
Yes, and I even sat next to him on the bus while yacking. It wasn't till we got off at uni that I realised he wasn't at all who I thought he was (an acquaintance of a friend). He thought it was pretty funny. I ran in embarrassment. (Well I was only 17 and not very worldly for dealing with strange guys who thought I was trying to pick them up...!!!)
I gets bored. 'tain't evil. Gives them something to talk about , enrichens their life experience.
A final nicety , as you rush off , is to say "Give my regards to Keith next time you see him". All old buggers know someone called Keith. This convinces them that you know them, and also brings Keith (whoever the hell he is ) into the loop of mystery.
