    YZF to RMZ axles

Just wondering if anyone knows or has tried to put YZF450 wheels into an RMZ450? Ir if anyone knows the width of the axle for the RMZ? Tried searching the net to no luck. Asking as thinking of changing brands and dont want to have to get new set of motard wheels....well trying to avoid it as much as possible. Any help much appreciated!

And if anyones looking for an '07 YZF450, with a few extra's on it and spares, $6500. If interested send me a PM.

I'll be at the next roys hills motard race, your welcome to measure up anything you like from my RMZ then.

If you've got excel wheels then you should be fine, just spacers to worry about, and disc/sprocket carriers...I bought CRF wheels for instance (in error) but the wheels still fit if you know what adaptor parts to get...

yeah its do able but the axle sizes are different.

tried to put my old wr wheels on a 06 rmz, it can be done with yammy axles

ive got a set of WR axles which are the same as yz's till 08 anyway.

comes with all nuts and also the chain guides, they are about 5-10mm too small (a bit of room top and bottom on the swing arm) but didnt cause any drama's cos if the axle is tight is wont move.

$100 + shipping and they are yours mate

you would have to make up some different spacers though
    Bring on the weekend
