I would last about two weeks before being extracted from the scenery with tweezers if I bought an R1. I can say without ego that an R1 and ilk is too daunting a prospect when one measures self-control vs self-interest. Plus I really, really want to buy a NEW bike. One that doesn't have someone else's bum grease on it.
