    Nay, I have a whetstone for that.

    Remarkable though how many folk DON'T sharpen spades and shovels. Nor oil them, neither.

    Thought it was just my old man that sharpened his shovels.
    Whenever I asked him as a kid what he was doing that for he replied "to cut the dirt with son, whaddya think?"
    Could never figure that out.

    I have a blunt one and a sharp one, the sharp one is awesome for roots and cly and stuff, but pretty hard on telecom cable and water pipes

    i also carry connectors for those.

    and spare fuel (just to stay on topic)
