what about the tdm 900,just about the same specs as the beemer but jap reliability,the computer on the beemer tells it to stop and your buggered but with the jap stuff its not such a prob.....

there is only one way to know if a bike will suit....ride it.The BMW look huge,but once rolling they are very very well balanced.....my ol gs feels a better balanced lighter bike than the KTM 950 i rode......But with about a 1/4 of the engine...
Poor comparison maybe,seeing i rode the KTM for about twenty minutes,but seriuosly try every bike you think of,or suggested.dont be put of by what they look like(like say a v strom)
