Those who have been parents will understand and some cultures this is just the way it is...
When a mother is nursing a infant/new born many consider that the woman is "off limits" or tapu". The mother needs to be left alone to nurse the baby and for many ceases to become a sexual being. Yes physically the mother is going through some pretty major internal changes, having given birth and needs time to recover. This concept for some means that a woman is viewed differently once given birth and therefore will not "look" at a woman and child breastfeeding.

Besides, unless your a spotty headed git off the young ones names pRick, why the feck would you do such a perverted thing and not leave them alone?
Sure, if they start and you accidently saw it, fine. Accept it and look elsewhere. Would not imagine having someone staring at mum and bubs being accepted in NZ.

I really think that you need to go back and "read that again"

Your talking bout people perving on a woman breast feeding yet most of the guys on here seem to agree with breast feeding just for the pure fact that they like to have a perv. or so it seems.

In fact I LOOK ELSEWHERE. Unlike some people. I have respect for females who breast feed, so maybe they should have some respect towards me for not wanting to see it.

I could always whip one of mine out and smack that "boob"(the one complaining about breast feeding in public) across the face with one of mine!.....I'd be very happy to do this for ya'all....where is he?....ha! He was probably just pissed off because "everyone" around him seemed to be getting some boob in one way or another.......But Him!....And breast feeding was just a sad reminder of that fact!

I think it steams from a problem we have in NZ, but turn a blind eye to.

People here in NZ think that they may take offence to something that at the end of the day, is not something that anyone has a right to complain about.
Western Springs Speedway is one. Some bunch of brainless twats build next to it (after its been there for HOW LONG???) and then think they have the right to complain about the noise?
We have people complaining about religions, cultures, ways of life, heck on a regular basis I get told off for riding a motorcycle!!!!
Anyone who thinks they have a right to dictate natural human development such a breastfeeding has a screw loose, even if its in public!!!! Whats next, will they want to ban pubity???
If people focused on themselves rather than everyone else and delt with ones own issues, rather than ignoring them and complaining about others. Then the world could be a great place. However this will not happen as society just becomes more self centered, selfish and biggoted by the hour...

Just think of the possibilities! Sounds like the La Leche League would be keen, for a start... and they could be a, er, legitimate 'front'.
