Bike blown over on Waring Taylor St, Wellington

    Hi folks,

Just walked past and saw that an off road bike parked in the bike park on Waring Taylor Street has been blown over. Didn't want to move it in case more damage is caused but hopefully the owner is on here.

If so, and you need a hand just let me know. My office is overlooking the bike park.

    Mike

Those bike are tough so I don't think being on its side will cause any major damage.

Twas a bit breezy yesterday! When I worked in town my CB250RS was blown over a couple of times. Usually some kind soul would pick it up.

Yup, corner of Waring Taylor and Featherston street is a bastard for wind... the poor Prila spent a little while on her side there... Not too much damage, but that heart stopping moment when you first see it... Waaaaaaaaaaaaa
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

Motorway - about where the ferry terminal is, Ngaio gorge to Kaiwharawhara can be a prick for severe side gusts. Lucky the Thrux weighs 120kg more than the Vespa...
