well, when you're a little on the skint side it's more about working out if you're paying extra for the same protection with more comfort/style/whatever other variable and trying to balance it right. Unfortunately I just don't have the experience to tell to good from the overpriced just yet, hence the rolling upgrade idea

You will find that most of the higher priced labels have a few bits floating around that can be done cheaper, I know I have, let me know your sizes and I will do something for you
