    Is that the original seat?

It's got decent aftermarket mufflers and that's the only immediate thing I'd have done. Will look at the inlet side of things and see what needs / can be done there. At least it's carbs so it's easy to alter.

Seat is original as far as I can tell. Was nice and comfortable on the ride up from Dunedin.

Bummer, Molly. See if you can resize the pics. Am dying to see it. What's the go with the old Bonnie? That sounds like an awesome project. Would like to see pics of it too.

Cheers Rosie. Have a lookat www.abonnieforjo.blogspot.com for some pics.

Started hunting out that master cylinder cover earlier but didn't turn it up. I'm sure it will during the move to the new garage that's coming up. There's no reason for it not to be there.

    Who stole the pics? Buggers!!!!

I was chatting about Bonnevilles last week at Street & Sport and apparently they can pull around 10 more ponies out of them with only mufflers, airbox/filter and carb/injector tweaks.

One of the mods wasn't happy that I'd linked pics from Photo Bucket...

Just put a 19 tooth front sprocket on the Bonnie to lower the cruising RPM a bit. Power's fine. It's not as off the line grunty as the Harley and the mechanical sound is less substantial (maybe I should brake something). All that said, it's a handsome bike and I'm happy enough with it.

    Some pics on that blog.
