It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off

    Why?

If you read it, it is to quote: "Here's a top 5 countdown of the bikes rated highest for handling by user reviewers in the MCN bike reviews section."
Does not mean it's a crock of shit.

Maybe every Buell rider voted distorting the votes, possibly Suzuki riders were too busy repairing their crashed bikes, maybe Honda riders were busy choosing new fabric for their drapes, Harley riders were probably online ordering bling and Italian bike riders were at work saving up for their next service ...........

Whatever the reason that's the results and judging by the owners feedback in this post relating to the handling of the bikes (what the award is about, not power) it may well be deserved.

I feel the need for a test ride ......

Of interest to the power freaks who have posted - power and handling are separate issues, indeed I suspect if you had a 160hp engine in the X series Buell the handling would probably degrade. As a owner of a 110hp bike I can attest to the fun that can be had at speeds under warp factor 10.

    Readers reviews.....

So does that mean Buell riders spend more time on the internet reading and reviewing their own bike than actually out riding it....

we don't spend our time shimming valves, replacing cam belts, fixing electrical faults and petrol leaks. so we have more time online.

don't dis buells in this thread, this thread is about there good points.

we owners know they are not the fastest, but to say they are slow is wrong

I didn't once diss them, nor say my RF was better.

They are really good fun, and if a road is tight enough to use second gear through the turns, you can even link 'em up on the back wheel.

You're opinion of what is a better bike, or cooler, is not subjective at all though.

My Gixxer is pretty cool, if you like 200hp superbikes. With more Yoshi bits than the catalogue, and the best suspension that was available when it was built.

You're Buell is cool, for the sheer looks it gets if ya give it a fist full. The wicked stoppies it'll do, and how nimble it is.

Right up to the point in fact, that you stop and turn it off, and that fan turns on to cool the fuel in the frame. Or you pull into a gas station when it's hot to fill it up, and the thing pisses it all straight back onto your left foot cos it expands with the heat anyway. That aint cool at all.

Bwahahahahaha, you cant shim the valves. You're fuckin diesel has PUSH RODS! My mothers Morris Minor has push rods. And what about drive belts?

A ducati leaking gas still gets further on a tank of it too.

    Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

FYI both my bikes have pushrods. and my point is we don't have to set valve clearances because of the engine design, so no maintenance for valves, cams are gear driven so no maintenance there. service is very easy / cheap.

as far as a ducati getting further on a tank it probably will provided it does not break down, which is by no means certain

I have no experience with Ducati breaking down though, unless the fuel line coming un clipped on my old race bike, after I'd biffed it down the track counts.
