    Muck-Off

Bought some of this pink goo t'other day..thought after 25,000km the bike might need a wee clean - just here and there y'know. Liked the idea of "spray on, wash off" as stated on the bottle..."no effort required" it said. "Made specially for lazy bastards like you" it said (well, implied anyway).
So I got it all sorted this morning before work called. Wet the bike down, sprayed the stuff on, awaited the requisite 1 - 2 minutes and then washed off...Bugger me, the bloody dirt was STILL THERE!!! So much for no effort required...lying bastards!
So I tried again. It worked a lot better once I got a wee brushy thingy and gave it a bit of a scrubbo between spraying on and washing off. All the same, I did have to work a bit ...hate that...hope the bike hasn't dissolved by the time I get home this arvo...might only be the dirt holding it together....

I've got a muc-off micro fibre polishing cloth and super-amazo-fluro wax (or whatever it's actually called) and it makes the bike look puuuurty. Was always a little dubious of the spray and walk away solutions... Seemed too good to be true. Although I never actually tried it, so I can't really comment..
