    Wanna ute?

I just bought myself a 1997 L200 Ute. Nice and tidy. Drives nice. But it kills my back driving it. I think its the cabin setup. Legs too long or something.

Anyway. I am going to sell it to go back to a wagon and trailer. Real drag cos its so easy to get bikes on and off etc.

Just thought I would offer it to KB'er first. Looking for round 6k.

Double Cab. 2.6 Petrol. 215Kms. Maroooon. 2wD so nice and low for getting bikes on and off.

    Yes it does.
    Yes I am. (Red Beach)
Yes you will get 2-3 bike on ute. Then more bikes on trailer, then pack your favourite friends in the back seats and go riding.

Yeah, been trying to find something but no luck yet.
I also wonder if the cab setup has something to do with it. Leg too long for accelerator and too short for clutch. I'm just the wrong shape for it. A seat may fix it and if I can find something that fits and works for me I will definitely keep it. It's just not easy. Need to engineer something in there by the looks.

My Ford courier was the same gave me the worst sore back, I managed to score a set of r34 skyline seats. Problem solved and comfort plus.

The only trouble is if you have a bench seat then you would need to make new mounts which can cause problems at wof time with no cert.

Good luck with the sale and or seat hunt

Cheers! I would be stoked if a new seat would work. Did it take much customising to get the skyline seats in? I have separate chairs...ie no bench.

I put in a pair of cheap buckets seats into my courier (untill they broke, Now have standard courier seats again)
I just used the same seat rails/brackets from the orginal courier seats and bolted on a steel plate on top, Then bolted the bucket seats on top of that. Still moved foward and back. But made the seats sit about an inch higher which was more comfy for me.
Try and get some honda Prelube seats, or seats like Hazza got. Adjustable lumber support etc.
Some wreckers might have some sitting out in the rain.
