That all? Is it only running on 3cylinders?

    Yes but badly.
You're going to be reading quite low on the HP with the knobs flexing/slipping on the drum but...
The A/F curve will read nicely so you'll still end up jetted correctly but just not know the true power/torque readings.

    Firste decent squirt on gravel.

Met up with Dino at the Whatawhata servo at 8.30, for a squirt over the alternate "divvy" road to Raglan. (old mountain rd)
Was nice to start to get the feel for the thumper, but the rear brake was wooden, and lacking feed back, and power. (Allan had mentioned this to me, so it wasn't unexpected)
After a quick rest at Te Mata village, it was over Te Hutewai Rd, and into the back of Raglan.
    Most obvious impressions:
Fix the rear brake. (already onto that)
21'' front wheels are the shizz (havn't had a decent big chookie since my KLX650 in Perth in 96.
I'm going to love leaving gravel snakes out of corners on this thing. (may as well order a bulk supply of tyres now)
    It's tall.
Got a few little mods to do, but it is 95% ready to get me in trouble.

Went to Anthrax's Thursday to sink a pumper carb while we fitted a few beers then shot off down the beach for a test ride.

Felt quite good compared to stocker, bit crisper and lil more oomph, the run along the beach and Waiuku forrest test track was a blast. Handles the tighter stuff pretty well.

Had a further poke n prod at it today, spotted a couple things that will need attention before the 42/Fishers ride.

Been fun but am looking forward to have a longish ride on gravel as not got around to that yet.
    Going away, busy?
