    Napier to Wairoa.

How is this bit of road? (apart from the odd shooting!)
    Its unreal.
I rolled in to the Mobil there with my tyre just about jelly.
That gorge section with the big sweepers is particularly juicy.
Saw a few bikes on my travels, WHK to Wairarapa via Rainbow Mt, SH1, Vinegar hill, the Paihatua track to Martinbourgh and then back up via the east coast, Gissy and through the Waioweka gorge.
Took a couple of days, 1 x speeding ticket near Danniverke and finally got the last out of the supercorsa.
Nice ride, but the napier to Wairoa was the best!!!

Totally agree. The road keeps you alert, the scenery is brilliant. And there is a nice pub 1/2 way where there is no mobile phone reception, so you can enjoy the drink in peace. I do that road now and then when the urge comes over me to blow off some cobwebs.

May the bridges I burn light the way.

The road was dry, no loose stones, no shit - absolutely great for once.

So long as it doesn't rain before labour weekend, should be fine. If it does, then watch out for the diesel on the road - that is one road that's bad for it

It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

Thats also nice. A bit of a dodgy road surface closer to Gissy on that hill...and the smell of bacon!

Can't forget the ducks! ............... Mum walking across the road with a row of her babies trailing behind on Sunday just gone.

Yeah, the road from Wairoa to Gisborne is great. You'll love it.
