Found this vid from last year. Looks cool. Hopefully will be finishing work early on Saturday night so I can make it down.

just got back from marking the ride, it is a pretty cool loop and it is much drier than it has ever been before, if you take all the a loop option the track is jsut over 27km, which is the biggest it has ever been,

there is also a 3km older kids loop which stays out of the forest so no fire extingushier required,

hop to see you guys there sunday

awesome ride today, was a bit slippery in the morning, but dried out nicely, saw more than a few broken bodies through out the day, must have kept the ambo's busy. some awesome hills too. it got very very dusty in the afternoon wich was no fun when you were stuck behind a quad.

677 riders today, biggest ever for this venue, had a helicopter late for someone with breathing diffculties among other things, (complete with tv camera man), only a couple of other treated for injuries,

    hope everyone enjoyed themselves,

You're not the only one...it's called "Xmas is only a week away, get these jobs finished".

An excellent trail ride. The first Mr Motorcycles ride I've done - really well marked. Lovely dry trails.

Great day out, massive thanks to Scott for getting my bike up the A section hill... Wow what a challenge! Had a good afternoon once it had dried up a bit.

It sure is comforting to see how quickly the marshalls and paramedics are on the scene when people require assistance.

Thankyou Scott and the rest of your team. A lot of work for you guys, looked to have been about 3 bikes to tow out at end of the day. My 3rd time at Paparimu and hadn't seen the carpark paddock so chocka before (my guess of 700 was pretty close!). After 2 pretty wet years, was great to be able to ride Paparimu with a bit more pace.

Pity about the chopper being needed, double pity TV have reporter/camera readily available for ambulance chasing. (Looked nasty though, punctured lung from busted rib maybe?)

One time up the main slippery climb (from the bog at bottom of gully) thinking I was pretty flash passing my mates, i hooked 4th ready for triumphant pop off the crest at the top and - had a big slippery slideways and ended up parking bike over the bank. Split front guard, tore headlight off, removed pride.

That bit with the very tight and steep switchbacks was pretty damn neat. I don't remember that before, maybe we did it backwards last year? Favourite bit might have been that climb after the baby pines. Just superb.

Yes that bloody clay uphill on the A loop... took me twice, then had to rescue my sons bike, took me ... too many attempts with that... quite a challenge. But doesn't it piss you off when the top guns fly past like it's no problem and cover you with shit as they go on their merry way... pricks! Nah... all good fun, will definitely be back... Thanks to all who contributed, a great day!

the only thing that pissed me off was those bastard asshole quad riders that would blast past you on the gravel roads showering you with golfball sized rocks and creating a dust cloud so thick it was dangerous. and then you would catch up to them in the bush parts and they wouldnt let you pass. is it really so hard just to cruise past at a moderate speed untill you get up the road a bit further?

Not keen on stone-face either but the real pisser about jokers fanging it hard on the gravel roads is the cockies need to use these every day. No need to trash the farmer's main access routes. We're guests on these properties but some guys treat it like a total playground.

There ended up being a real big bad pothole a few metres into a gravel farm race at the start. Mate had forgotten it was there, he hit it right in front of me on our last lap. He went flying up sideways, then into ditch but popped out. Was a good save but nasty hole for already busy cockie to fix.

Sorry for soap-boxing, just bugs me a bit.
