I brought myself a cb250 rs last month as a learner bike, its a very forgiving bike and since its light as its pretty easy to handle... just don't stall it at the lights or its a hassle with the kick start![]()
They're awesome! I owned mine for 6 years and did 2 trips around the South Island on her and lots of other trips and kms. I had no major mechanical problems. Easy to maintain and look after.
Not very powerful though and they are a kick-start which can be a bit tiresome. It really depends what you want it for.
If I'd had the $$ and a garage I would've held onto mine and restored it. The 1 you're looking at on TM is the original colour of mine...oh the memories!
