    Teeny Tiny Blingdicators

    Teeny tiny indicators
Does anyone out there or in the industry know where I can get some?
What I am after is ones like I saw today at AMPS
They are no wider than a novelty pen, chrome plastic/ stainless or ali will do, not black plastic or carbon lookalikes.
For that small they would be LED I think.
And a price of no more than $60 hopefully.
That is what I require for the rear
For the front I am searching for some bar end indicators, Stien Diense in Australia have them but come in the same catagory as AMPS
So they have to be small, probably LED as well, and chrome/ stainless or Ali body
    Any ideas folks?
I have 3 1/2 months of indicator - less WOF to go, so I have to get something sorted by then

Don't get the bar end ones mate they look like crap in person. Would suggest getting a set like I have for the front and mouting then on your bars just in front of the grips. (hey thats not a bad idea.. might just do that with mine ) Anywho never heard of the pen ones you're looking for for the rears, goodluck mate.

Have a look at the Desmodromics web site they have some real small ones.
They are in auckland on the shore I think.
I've got Husgvarner ones on the back of the Duc but not as small as you talking about, I still want cages to see them.

I only got mine last night, had a quick look through till I got brain fade,I needed my 11 yr old to interpret for me.Basicly tightening up,loosening up,the usual word changes so Testing Station Nazi's can get it all wrong and fail legal vehicles.Toughening up on approved lamps, stopping the likes of Repco and Supercheap selling illeagal lighting, and private individuals importing the wrong stuff. Also reinforcing that it's the owners responsability to keep the vehicle up to WoF standard, remove the policeing from inspectors,it's not our job.

They have finaly settled the headlamp setting rule - we have been doing it wrong here for years. With the systems where the dip beam stays on and high beam lamps take the light further out, there is a seamless band of light from lamps to as far as they go.But we have been setting the dipped beam lower than manufacturers specs, creating a gap between dip and high beam...dangerous.Most inspectors ignore the NZ regs and set to manufacturers specs, but the Nazi's do it by the book, creating dangerous lighting. Now we have a whole range of different settings for different lamp heights,in %,mm and degrees, finaly some real figures, some modern vehicles have the settings on the lamp,we can use that too.

Some more real figures on number of lamps too,so now my illeagal Pajero lamps that no one would know about are obviously wrong, they are dual fillament lamps, dip and high beam...choice,cause when you dip your lighs it still has a powerful dip spread. Now you can only have two dip lamps, four high, fogs only allowd in poor visability,ah,like fog.One I expect the Nazi's to get wrong is only 2 pairs of tail and stop lamps - so my Diamante has 3 bulbs per side,3 pairs of bulbs but one pair of lamps .

I have my revue in 3 weeks,I'm totaly out of shape as usual, but will have to show I've got these new regs sussed as well...is it all worth it??....

Then you don't need indicators - are you trying to make life difficult for yourself? Take the easy way out and leave them off...problem solved.

I would love to leave them off, back in the day I never worried about them, with the hand signals whenever possible> And believe me, I don't really want to delve into the dodgy Iti electrics if I dont have to.
    Truth is,
It's risky on roundabouts when you need both hands on the clipons to corner. Traffic in Auckland is 90% dumarsess, and plenty of 'em. And after having indicators for the last 5 years, I feel it is nessesary in this day and age to use them.

Well then if you retrofit they have to comply - life's simple really.

Yeah, Desmodromics is in Albany, and he has a few to choose from.
His name is Kiwi, and he'll sort ya right. Good bloke..

Just reading up on the 'new' rules tho, cos I've got mini's on my bike. Can't stand to think of going back to those stock lanterns hanging off my bike again..
