Part 2 of the day out with a Bovine Interlude....

Nice day out there, no traffic but a bit of livestock...I was, I turned off the engine and patiently waited...

    Oh Noes!

Edit: For everyone who can still make it, I can sort out some bread + salady things to go with the bbq, and bacon, eggs, cereal etc for breakfast for $5 a person. Let me know if you want me to cook you some eggs, so I know how much food to take

Food for me please RosieI'll score some meat from a wandering Bullock on the way up, might even bag a goat/Turkey/Bunny Wabbit.
Was gunna bring the XRL up, but the scrambler likes a gentle pootle up the coast, so Trumpy it is.
Anybody arranging a meeting time at the Kopu pub carpark?, or are we all just meandering up.
Edit. Saw MX's 10.00am meet.I think I will be leaving later, so I'll cruise up by my lonesome.

    Is it time yet ???

All packed and ready to go.

We will see whoever is left ( Rob & Colin ?? ) at the kopu pub at 10 ish.

Spoke to TCDC about the tapu-coroglen rd, it is closed for repairs about 10 kms from the tapu end for 500m. The lady thought that we might be able to get through on motorcycles but did not know for sure.

We can decide what to do in the morning, could always go through tairua then over the 309 into coro that way ???

A big "thank you" to Rosie for inviting me to her b/day party
Great to meet some of your friends and family, and the weather was very kind to us, with only the very occasional light shower and cooling cloud cover.
Clint did an excellent job on the BBQ, and the smell of bacon cooking this morning was the best incentive for me to shug off the hangover, and drag myself out of the tent.
A nice gentle pootle back down the peninsula with the added pleasure of seeing Nick n Paul on the Coro Thames section.
Only downer was not seeing Baabaraa this time, but the lads with the blow up doll added the required twist.
    See you lot again soon
