I'm going for sure
I'm going for sure
Bugger about the bike.... What next for you?
I left town way too late and didn't get to the duckpond in time.
Decided it was a nice night to visit featherston and got there to find the WWNCST mob had thought the same and were sitting at the pub I'd aimed for![]()
The (dis)honorable Nick Smith, when you speak all I can hear is
BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!!
So please fuck off and die.
Go Go, Ninja Dinosaur!!
Nice weather, good turnout, good blat over the Tukas, good blats over the Pkak Hill - all in all a good night out
Experience......something you get just after you needed it
Nice to meet you tonight. Yeah lots of bugs and sunstrike on the way back south. I forgot my clear visor in my mad rush to get out the door in time. Had moths flapping about in my helmet around my ears by the time I got home. Gear and bike coated in bug bits.
Good turnout for a nice night. Anyone doing Thursday night ride?
It was a good run tonight, the ride back got progressively quicker.....the quickest I've ever done Paekok hill, feeling a bit stuffed now,not as young and fit as I was.
Excellent ride which looks like becoming a regular feature for me. Hopefully with a few more miles on the Aprilia I wont be too far behind on the way back to the sunny coast! - Gareth was absolutely right - those guys were almost airborne!
Very fast run around the lake last night? The name of this ride could be changed to reflect the nature of the ride. The TCWNR (The Cruisy Wednesday Night Ride) is hardly a fitting name for the ride now it is faster paced and lacking newbie 250cc riders. It could be called TWNHR (The wednesday night hoon ride)
Here for the ride.
Varies from night to night though.
This last ride was a little fast, thinking about it, last weeks (Tuesday night) ride was a little faster than usual as well. So maybe things are speeding up a little. There certainly are less small bikes than last year.
But you need to ride your own ride. The last thing we need is people feeling pressured into riding beyond their ability or what they are comfortable with.
I lost contact with the front group coming down the hill and by the time I got to the Western Lake turn-off there was no one there waiting. But that is allright.
I had a great ride around the lake at my own pace. Moved over when a faster person wanted to pass me and let him go. I certainly wasn't going to try and keep up and push myself beyond my comfort zone.
So I had a great Cruisy Wednesday night ride.
Cruisy for me being my pace which is faster than some and slower than others.![]()
Also, everyone generally goes at a groups pace up to featherston and from there on, its ride your own ride. Round the lake certainly was fast, I should know, I was in the lead
![]()
So are you guys just telling cops when and where to look out for you or something with all this talk of pace?
Cheers
Merv
Ride your own ride makes sense... problem is when riding your own ride scares others by overtaking in the same lane.
Are we going to get a cough? Or was it a non-KBer?
