    Cold Kiwi off the menu.

Well, my hither to reliable Guzzi has decided to quit on me 2 days out from the Cold Kiwi. Decided to ride to work this morning 48 km from Meremere to Manukau as a test run and made it to the Mahia rd turn off from Great South rd. Changed down as I was going through the free turn, let the clutch out and nothing happens, but a whirring noise from below. Sounded like it was coming from the gear box, but it's there when I push it in neutral too and seems to be at the diff / driveshaft end now. A couple of weeks ago after reading some of the posts on AA plus I decided to cough up a couple of hundy and join Mrs MK and myself up. It paid off big time this morning, they were there to pick me up by 0630 and transported bike and myself back home. Big thank you to AA. Pity about the Cold Kiwi though, looks like I'm going to be busy pulling the diff or driveshaft apart.
