    Cool XXXX

Yes. It's also Australian for "beer".

But it's also another milestone. It only seems like yesterday since X numero uno.

    To (mis)quote the Prophet Bruce...

In the day we sweat it out in the streets of a runaway Kiwi dream
At night we ride through mansions of glory in suicide machines
Sprung from cages out on highway 2,
    Chrome wheeled, fuel injected
and steppin' out over the line
Baby this town rips the bones from your back
    It's a death trap, it's a suicide rap
We gotta get out while we're young
`Cause tramps like us, baby we were born to run

Wendy let me in I wanna be your friend
I want to guard your dreams and visions
Just wrap your legs 'round these velvet rims
and strap your hands across my engines
Together we could break this trap
We'll run till we drop, baby we'll never go back
Will you walk with me out on the wire
`Cause baby I'm just a scared and lonely rider
But I gotta find out how it feels
I want to know if love is wild
girl I want to know if love is real

Beyond the Palace hemi-powered drones scream down the boulevard
The girls comb their hair in rearview mirrors
And the boys try to look so hard
The amusement park rises bold and stark
Kids are huddled on the beach in a mist
I wanna die with you Wendy on the streets tonight
    In an everlasting kiss. Fwhaaaar...

The highway's jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive
Everybody's out on the run tonight
but there's no place left to hide
Together Mrs H we'll live with the sadness
I'll love you with all the madness in my soul
Someday girl I don't know when
we're gonna get to that place
Where we really want to go
and we'll walk in the sun
But till then tramps like us
baby we were born to run

You are truely a whore of the greatest order Mr H.

    A whore above all others.

What's more is the high percentage of your posts are still good. Particularly the writeups.

Hard to believe you've done what, 30000-40000+ kms? Held down a job, spent time with friends and family and still managed to crack the 4X's.

I was lost reading Hitcher's first post until I got to Ghost Lemur's and figured out you were all talking about the site rating thingy.
Even when I had no idea what Hitcher was talking about I had to read the whole lyrics. One of my all time great rock songs. In fact I bought his hits recently along with Joe Walsh (Rocky Mountain way playing right now).
No idea what your flashy xxxx achievement was Mr H but well done anyway.

Of course Hitcher doesn't have to worry about demanding, puking, shitting kids that demand so much of your attention though, so he can spend more time on the net and the road

Seriously though Brett, a remarkable achievement. Well done.

Although I can't believe I still haven't caught up with you on the road...

Enjoy your time as top dog on KB. Cause I'm sure some bugger will come along and make 5,000 posts in three weeks and tip you off. Of course, they'll never meet your quality per post quota.

That rainy night at western springs last year is up there with the Stones at Sydney Showgound, Pink Floyd at the Entcent and Bowie at several venues as milestones.

So, anyway, congrats.....I think. I've probably consigned a similar amount of brainwaves to the ether in various groups over the years - and I've learned a lot from what comes back.

And FWIW - I think 'ass' is appropriate in some contexts.
