Were the 80s really this gay?

I was cleaning out my humor file the other day and came across these neat pieces of 80's cheese that I thought I'd share. Were we really this gay in the 80's? My favourite is the family photo, man even as a child they must have known Vince Neill was different. Oh well must stop avoiding work and get on with it.

lol..... cool pics. Yup the 80's were that gay
but we were all so busy adjusting our boofy hair and pulling up our legwarmers that i think we failed to notice.

the one saving grace for the 80's IMO is that they finally moved on from that 70's god awful orange and brown colour scheme......... my oldies had an orange couch that is still entrenched in my childhood memories........ ghastly!!

I remember thinking Kit was the coolest car in the world. It cracks me up watching some of the old shows on prime and totally cringing with how corney it all seems now.

I had a jacket just like the one in the fifth photo.
But it was in the 90's (it was old).
And I didn't have that dodgy moustache (but I had an equally dodgy one briefly in the 80s, and a perm...)

Does this mean I was ghey in the 80s, and didn't know it?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Yes the 80's were gay. But there were some interesting motorcycles made in this period before the japs decided to make all bikes the same apart from the colour.
