:P, I doubt the force those cannisters can put out would be significant enough to lift him that much, let alone without running out of their forced propulsion rather quickly.
On another note, someone in NZ has only recently (this year) finished developing an actual jetpack, and its taken him like 10 years, so I doubt that their one would work.
Still, fairly entertaining, if they hadn't made him appear at the sky tower almost instantly after travelling in the wrong direction it might have been more believable
that isn't actually a jetpack - it's more like a single seater twin prop helicopter...
the problem with jet/rocket packs is that they generally burn your legs....
EDIT: and it's astounded me that it took him a decade when he had funding and employees working on it too.
Now that is a step back in time!
When I was just a young teenage lassie, some guy was going all out to impress me...every Sunday he would ring me and regale me with his latest escapades which were intended, no doubt, to send me rushing into his arms! (Didn't work BTW)
Sure enough in Monday's paper would appear the photograhic evidence. In those days, traffic cones had not been invented. It was 44 gallon drums atop the highest buildings in town complete with their blinking lights attached. He carried it on for months and even ended up with a sort of cult status, before he realised, alas, I was not interested.
It was goood for my ego though!
Diarrhoea is hereditary - it runs in your jeans
If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...
Of course you would correct me andrew! close a-bloody-enough if you ask me! but still looks pretty cool!
doesn't matter, it makes him fly so is therefore awesome
Jetpack renders your argument invalid.
It is indeed to do with V. And I may say that the celebrations when they got it up there were quite spirited.
And : serious fact - it was indeed Conelious who prompted the idea of the road cone on the Sky Tower. I wanted them to add angry eyebrows, but that didn't get traction.
And you don't want to know how much the little exercise cost!

everyone is calling it a jetpack but the propulsion is by propellor (by my understanding), to avoid aforementioned leg incineration
It also kind of looks like two giant fire extinguishers
ok, so old news that this is fake, but i just re-saw it on tv... when the guy is coming back down the cone is NOT on top of the skytower!
