There appears to be a Yamaha shop there - Motocare Yamaha, 5 Freswick Street, Blenheim, phone 03-578-2592 that sells new and used motorcycles and ATVs. I also found a Google listing for P & B Grinter Ltd, 66 Grove Road, Mayfield, Blenheim, 03-578-1213, that sells motorcycles and scooters.

Not sure how current the listings are but you could give them a try. Or ask around on base as there will most likely be riders there who could point you in the right direction. There are some good shops in Nelson, like Thunderbike.

There was two just as you came in over the bridge from memory, not sure if they both have survived. + there is a Trials shop that has branched into Enduro, but think he has downsized back to home as well.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Off-topic I know, but have you been out to the museum at Omaka?

There's a Suzuki shop down there somewhere bro. My mate Nick bought a GSXR600K6 brand new when he came out of recruit course!

hey poster 1, get onto Grove road, thats the main road that runs through Blenheim and heads out towards picton. There is a small Honda dealership (Croads) on the left hand side about halfway down, and peter grinter (kawasaki) is on the right hand side, just before you get to the Big petrol station just before the bridge, From there they will direct you to the rest!
Enjoy the dingy shithole that is woodbourne mate!

lmao, aint that the truth, but to be fair, the honda dealer is a side-show attached to a lawnmower business, and its fuckin easy to drive straight past, and the kwaka dealer isnt a great deal easier to see if you dont know exactly where it is!
I never been to grinters myself, but have heard alot of good things about the owner being a good helpfull bloke.

The old old old suki dealer that was there about ten years ago were a really good bunch of guys too, but dunno if they are still there or not, if they are its likely its a different crew running the show there. mnake sure you post up some pics when you get a toy, oh, and go to picton, then through queen charlotte to havelock, or do a tikitour up the keneperu heads, tight windy roads, zero traffic, unfuckinbeleivable scenery....
    youll love it.
