Who the fuck keeps crashing into air pumps?

Suffice to say, finding an air pump nowadays that hasn't had the nozzle run over and destroyed by careless cagers is pretty difficult - but we all know a good one somewhere...

Well today, my friends, my good one was fucking ran over; Not just the nozzle, the whole fucking thing.

Seriously, if there are cagers out there with licences who can't even negotiate a fucking petrol station without crashing into shit what the fuck are they doing on the road?

Fuming into my helmet on my way back home to retrieve my forgotten cellphone, one of these same idiots proceeded to look straight through me, despite my now legally required headlights on, and seemingly tried to have an R6 (which I'm trying to sell) plough into their driver's side door - She barely even slowed down until of course she had blocked my path through the roundabout.

What a great start to the week.

It's usually because cunts don't hang the fucking things back up again and just leave them lying on the ground to be run over. When I worked at the servo, we had to fix the damn thing countless times because of idiots. The hose would also end up with splits in it so you would have to cut it down, which meant that people who parked too far away had to stretch it around their vehicle to reach which meant that it split again. It was an endless cycle :/

I like the digital ones though but still, people manage to split the damn hose and they let more air out than in.

    +1 for home compressor!

it costs like ten bucks for a 90 degree extension, spoke wheels are the hardest with air pumps.

Well when you see the size of some of the vehicles on the road . Went down a back road in the city the other day. Dotted yellow lines both sides, so no cars parked down it. Plenty of space for both directions of traffic and lo and behold just my luck a motherfucking hummer comes the others way taking up his lane and half of mine. Lucky I was on the bike, I squeezed past.

If I was in the cage I would have just chucked it into park and made the bastard reverse all the way out.

They better keep away from my one at home. Seriously they are so cheap now it's rude not to have one.

PS: lights on not required legally until Nov.

same here. it got so bad that the boss actually disconnected it and locked the storage box. the hose is kept out the back. suited me fine cos it meant i didnt have get drowned doing some little old biddies tyres. i like the ones where you key in the pressure, but my favourite is busted at the moment and i dont know where theres another. shell used to have one, but then they switched it to the standard one and i wouldnt have a clue how to use one of those. lol.

    Simple solution.

With the declining standards of kiwi drivers, you will see less of the petrol stations with working outlets.

Thats why I went and bought a pump from a cycle shop. Got sick of the very reason you posted.

Sure it's a little bit of coin, but you get consistency. A couple of cross references with other guages to find the margin of error, and your away.
The same pump with the same guage, every time.
Plus you get to check when the pressure when the tyre is 100% cold.

    WHERE?????

I would love one. I've yet to find a service station air pump that I can actually use. If I didn't have a compressor at home I'd be screwed.
