If I recall correctly, in about 1980something we rode 2 up on a footpath with no rego, no wof, no helmets and a bald tyre. Cop happend to drive past and decided to ticket both of us. Kev got done for no rego, no wof, a bald tyre, riding on a footpath, not wearing a helmet and allowing a passenger not wearing a helmet. I got done for being a pillion passenger not wearing a seatbelt.![]()
I got chased for doing three up once.
Edit:
Actually twice. The second time the guy in the middle poured his MacDonald's coke down the back of my jeans when he jumped off into a bush.
Some things are worth dying for, living is one of them.
Nope but I like fun and riding a bike is fun. What I dont need is some fuck head making bikers look like retards and encouraging further restrictions on our riding.

what a ride so far!!!!
Well he certainly isn't the only one and when you read some of the pre-pubescent comments in some of these forums you can see that we don't always portray or present a responsible road user group. Sure I can understand no warrant or no reg or speeding but all 3 together just shows a total and blatant disregard.
What could happen?
Well if enough dick heads like this one keep making guest appearances then perhaps our "biker friendly" politicians may introduce a CC or horsepower cap.
Wont that turn your crank being limited to perhaps a 400 cc mount.
We are not liked by LTSA and if enough stats such as the above are logged then there will eventually be restrictions imposed on us. Is this what you want?
Take a look at the headlight law coming into force in November. Sure we know riding with a headlight on is a good idea but it is there to prevent cagers from pulling out in front of us. They are the ones at fault yet the biker will be the one charged if he doesn't have his headlight on.
Do you understand my point? We are tolerated.....just.

After reading that I wonder......... if you do not have you headlight on after Nov (not an issue for me as it won't go off!) and have a car-bike accident and the car driver says - "did not see him/her as their headlight was not on" would you then be found in the wrong, even if it was indeed their fault?
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
Bowls can wait !
