Fun pix at Superbowl

Out at the Sandpit on Father's Day We walked out to the superbowl (1.25 hour each way....) and here are the results..............

Was actually more a power walk to there and BACK before the park closed.....

Valve bouncing is when the Valves in a 4 stroke can't keep up with the cam and can no longer stay in contact with the cam's contour . Sounds like farting and misfiring. caused by over revving..............

Thanks for the info! I've often heard that sound (not with me riding, i'm too slow!) and wondered what it was. Can it damage your engine?

depending on the engine design there is a chance of the valves hitting the piston engines designed not to do this are refered to as non interference

Not being a four stroke man I thought that ragged sound at high revs, was the ignition cutting out, so the bike didn't over rev, valve bounce and destroy the engine?? That would make more sense??
