    Trail rides in Nov/Dec?

A group of us are looking for a road trip trail ride in nov/dec .
we are all farmers so in the middle of spring so cant even make the trail blazer or pumice blast in october.
does anyone know of any good rides around 4 hours or less away from taranaki?
we want to be able to hit the wees and ride and just have a bloody good time.

    ideas anyone?

Check out http://www.silverbullet.co.nz/events.php mate. Has alot of rides on it with dates and details. Go down the page a bit and Raetihi Ripper looks like it could be the go for you.... Has a massive rep and is meant to be a good weekend, and not all that far away?

Might be a bit tame for you but there's always the Mr Motorcycle rides on Nov 29th at Glenn Murray and Dec 13th at Paparimu???
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

do the ripper man. Cheap entry fee (i think it was $60 last year for two days riding) and two nights free camping with massive bonfire etc. cool slippy (when wet) forrestry stuff on sat (get away early to avoid the queues) Really long loop on sunday will test your stamina... see ya there!
