Regional motorcycle clubs

Hi All

After having a bit of time on my hands I've been reading a few threads that have some really negative stuff to say about regional motorcycle clubs. People seem to forget a few major things:

Without these clubs there would be no racing and fewer track days and ride days
Without these clubs you couldn't get your race license
These clubs are all run by volunteers who work really hard to get events up and running
The volunteers put in a lot of work behind the scenes to make things happen - it's not a matter of just turning up on the day

So before moaning or whinging or having a go at someone, next time think:

Should you stand up and join a committee to make some of the changes you want to see happen? If you don't want to or don't have the time - stop running down the huge amount of volunteers who work really hard to make events happen for you.

I would like to thank all the motorcycle clubs across New Zealand for the efforts they put in that has made my riding experiences more enjoyable.
