    I rode a Buell today

    ........I bloody loved it.

    04 XB12R.
Hopped on it and felt at home straight away, fitted like a glove.
I'm only 5''7 and my R foot was flat footed on the ground.
Only had a short ride, but it felt comfy and had a real world power spread that I reckon I could live with.

I must admit it surprised me, dunno why, just never thought something like that was me, despite me actually liking the look of them.

Dunno whether I could have a Harley in the shed tho.........the other bikes might get pissed off.........

    Aren't V-twins where it's at....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

I am 6' 1" and sat on one at AMPS. I found it too small and cramped and declined a test ride. The wheel base looks too short and it felt as though it would topple over.

Good to hear positive feedback for a Buell.

Bit of an anti climax after the sexy xb12r
I wouldn't mind an xb myself but I think there are other ways to spend my money and get hard. Good to hear I can fit on one though, seems 5ft 9 is too short for most sporting machines now

Ahh I see. The one wheeled model is much nicer.
