if you had access to the trade accounts that i do you would see that there is no where near the same amount of aftermarket parts you can get is the difference is huge.

Realistically I think it comes down to which colour you like best. Most of the manufacturers are pretty similiar now days (well Jappa's anyway). I know Yamaha and Honda have always been known for their build quality and sturdyness so if I have a choice I will always be Red or Blue but have a mate with an RM250 which is a bloody nice bike to ride and has done him well.

Always loved the look of Kawi's but have had a few horror stories from mates that've owned them but at the same time Climintie has a few of them in his garage which he's been well happy with.

Buying second hand it will come down to whose owned it, what kinda riding they've done and how well they've maintained it.

I'm always going to be loyal to Honda as long as I can but unfortunately they were the first to drop 2T's. If KTM or yamaha bring out an injected 2T which has been talked about for years, no doubt i'll be changing brands.

Honda and Kawi are the hottest looking bikes

Im a honda man i got alot of good riding from my 02 CR125. The frames are well above the rest and they look the best. No paint to scratch etc. I rebuilt a mates 01 KX and i was not impressed with it they are so far behind the honda. Every mate that i have got into riding has started with a CR125 because i said they had to so far thats 5 mates and no problems all on honda 2 smokers.
